Oh, Oh, Oh, ROCAMBOLE garlic!!!! Please tell me you bought this and brought it back with you! You can’t even buy it commercially and it doesn’t grow well in CA or Georgia I would imagine. It has been in limited quantity for so many years:( I had my first taste of this amazing garlic when I was in New York in, (drum roll please)… 1991! I still remember how much I loved it. I was pregnant with my first son Brock and wasn’t sure if I should have shellfish and then I smelled it and had to have it! It was spicy and delicious and served in a scampi with the most succulent shrimp ever. It would have knocked your socks off! I am on a quest now, I will spend the rest of the day on-line trying to buy some:)
I am so happy you blogged
I love, love, love, the pictures. And as usual your writing makes me want to hop on a plane, to anywhere with amazing food:)
You are hysterical! I LOVE LOVE LOVE your comments! I did buy this; I bought ten bulbs and now both of my purses will forever smell like garlic! I love your passion for food and wonderful wit! If I would have known that you loved it so much I would have gladly purchased some for you!
I am really trying to be better about blogging several times a week. I really, REALLY want to, but I start working and that just seems to suck all of the inspriation out of me. I am very proud of these beautiful pictures, but it’s really all due to great lighting and irresistable produce. HA!
Also, so glad to hear that I inspire you. Your readership and contribution encourages me to keep blogging. I mean that! Can’t wait until you’re here again and we can hang. Also, I’ll be in CA in January!
Love you – xxxooo
